"Bringing heirloom recipes to modern-day dinner tables."

Lavender and Honey Kitchen was birthed out of a desire by owner, Naomi Gingerich to bring the heritage recipes of her childhood to modern day dinner tables.  Raised in the simplistic lifestyle of the “Plain People” with a passion for home-cooked meals, Naomi began a food blog and Instagram account in 2014, The Cooks in the Kitchen, as a way of chronicling her kitchen endeavors.  The idea for a pop-up bakery came after her oldest daughter, Natalie, moved back to Winston-Salem and the two of them began thinking of something they could do together. It seemed only natural to share the sweets which had become popular on Naomi’s blog and social media accounts.

The pop-up bakery offers sweet and savory pies, cakes and confections which Naomi and Natalie bake from scratch using organic flour and wholesome, fresh ingredients. Their artisan pies will compliment your next dinner party, potluck or celebratory event while their authentic Amish Cinnamon Rolls will likely become your Saturday morning staple. And their cakes? Let's just say the choices are as fascinating as the flavor combinations.

You can find Lavender and Honey Kitchen at various locations throughout the Winston-Salem, Lewisville and Pfafftown area, including the Cobblestone Farmer’s Market on Saturdays in Old Salem. Follow us on Instagram @lavenderandhoneykitchen to see where the next pop-up location will be.
